Indiana State Baseball posted their sixth straight victory and fourth straight in Missouri Valley Conference action yesterday as defeated the host Bradley Braves 9-2.
David Stagg improves to 7-3 as he goes seven innings to earn the victory, limiting the Braves to a run on five hits while striking out five and walking three. Cody Zimmerman led the offense going 2-4 with 3 RBI’s and a run scored and both Jacob Hayes and Mike Fitzgerald scored two runs apiece.
Indiana State improved to 34-13 overall and 13-6 in the MVC with the victory. The same two teams will square off at 7 p.m. this evening and will wrap up their three-game series with a 2 p.m. game on Saturday.
