Indiana Department of Education has created seven regional centers intended to advance educational opportunities for migrant students.
The centers will provide development aid for teachers and administrators.
Each student will be provided with a tablet or laptop computer.
The department says its Office of Migrant Education has used unclaimed federal funds from 2012 and worked with migrant education experts and the business community to create the new centers.
The centers are located in South Bend, West Lafayette, Berne, Alexandria, Connersville, Columbus and Jasper.
