A Sullivan County jury convicted a Farmersburg man Thursday on three charges stemming from an arrest by State Excise Police after a fight with his family.
On March 10, police were called to a home in Farmersburg.
The caller told police that 33 year old Adam D. Drake had thrown his family out of their residence and fought with family members.
When officers arrived Drake became belligerent and punched his father in the face and then ran into another room in the residence.
Eventually officers Tasered Drake who then punched an officer in the face.
Drake was then put on the ground and handcuffed.
Drake’s sentencing hearing is set for June 6.
