The change to electronic voting and vote centers in Vigo County had a few snags in its first time use during the Tuesday primary.
It did seem to take some people more time to vote this way for the fist time.
Long lines caused some voters to wait 45 minutes or more and others to leave before voting.
Others reported no problems and a light turnout did simplify the process.
Election officials say that they will immediately start working on improvements for the fall.
Nearly 13,000 ballots were cast in Vigo County for this primary which amounts to just over 16% of registered voters.
More than 4,000 voters cast early ballots in the days leading up to the primary.
