Indiana State University’s Board of Directors has approved the latest student housing renovation.
The first phase of a major renovation of the Sycamore Towers complex, scheduled to begin later this month.
It will begin with the $20 million renovation of Mills Hall.
Over $17 million in bonds will need to be sold to pay for the work.
The second phase will start in 2015 and will renovate Blumberg Hall for $22.5 million and more bonds will need to be sold to pay for that.
In other business the board also set a University minimum wage of $10 per hour effective July 1.
