Wednesday night a packed house joined the Bement School Board to discuss the fate of its high school.
An independent consultant has recommended that the high school be closed.
Right now the board says they’re investigating everything from consolidation to a full county-wide high school.
One of the most plausible options at the moment appears to be a consolidation with Cerro Gordo.
Combining the two would only create a combined enrollment of 300 students.
