Here's some news that will cheer up Miley Cyrus as she continues to recover from her health woes: her album's gone platinum.
Billboard reports that according to Nielsen SoundScan, Bangerz, which came out this past October, has now passed the one million mark in sales. It's Miley's sixth album overall to reach that sales milestone. Bangerz has also outsold Miley's previous disc, Can't Be Tamed, by a huge margin: Can't Be Tamed sold just over 350,000 copies to date, even though it was released in 2010. It's no surprise, though, that Bangerz has sold more, considering it features the huge hits "Wrecking Ball" and "We Can't Stop."
In her career, Miley's sold 15.9 million albums, including the Hannah Montana albums. Her career best-seller is the first Hannah Montana soundtrack, which has gone triple platinum since its release in 2006.
After rescheduling her entire U.S. tour following a severe allergic reaction to an antibiotic she was prescribed to treat a sinus infection, Miley was recently forced to postpone two European concerts when the allergy symptoms returned.
