Just because Coldplay 's Chris Martin is going through a divorce in his personal life doesn't mean he's not going to appear on The Voice .  The singer is set to make his debut on the show Monday, advising contestants in the next phase of the Battle Rounds, and also will appear on April 1 and April 7.  In a couple of advance clips of his appearance on the show, Chris is shown counseling the singers on how to, as coach Adam Levine sings, have "Moves Like Jagger" -- literally.

In one preview clip , Chris is shown helping Team Blake 's contestants Audra McLaughlin and Megan Ruger as they battle each other by singing Miley Cyrus ' "The Climb."   Feeling that the women aren't using the stage effectively enough, Chris tells them, "This is a song about trying to get somewhere together, so cover the area, 'cause you need to bring out your Mick Jaggers a bit; he goes everywhere."  Referring to the iconic Rolling Stones frontman, Chris adds, " You feel as an audience, 'Oh, he's coming over to me.' That's why he's the best frontman in the world."

"This song needed to be performed outwards," Chris tells the camera. "The more you feel that you're being sung to, the more that'll work."

In a second preview clip, Chris is shown helping Josh Murley and Patrick Thomson on Team Shakira, as they rehearse Bryan Adams ' "Run to You."  He admits self-deprecatingly, "There's no way that I could sing that song. Only certain guys voices work, and you're lucky that [yours] both do."  Then, he advises them that the song would be more powerful if each singer sang while holding a mic stand.

"I think sometimes people needs props," Chris says to the camera. " Bono has his sunglasses. Mick [Jagger] has his arms. Jay Z has his hat. And I felt like Patrick and Josh needed mic stands."

Chris and Coldplay will release a new album, Ghost Stories , on May 19.  He and wife Gwyneth Paltrow announced on Tuesday they were breaking up after more than 10 years of marriage.
