A new ranking is out for the health of those who live in Indiana and Illinois Counties.
Putnam County was the highest ranked on the list of counties in our listening area coming in at number 12.
The results are based on how healthy people are in each county and how long they live as well as other health related factors.
Other counties in our area were a little to a lot worse:
Clay County was #27
In Illinois Edgar was #62, Clarke was #58 and Crawford was #85
The rankings were released Thursday by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) and the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute.
