Vigo County Sheriff’s Officials have identified the suspect vehicle used in the home invasion and armed robbery that occurred in southern Vigo County back on March 4th.
The vehicle was found burnt and abandoned in the rural Prairieton area.
The car had been reported stolen 24 hours earlier from the 2300 block of South Center Street.
Chief Deputy Clark Cottom said there were multiple shotgun blasts to the vehicle.
The home invasion occurred around 3:00 am on Halt Dr. just east of the Vigo County Fairgrounds.
Two suspects forced their way into the home, displayed a pistol and demanded cash and marijuana from the tenant - Levi Bedwell.
Both suspects were described as white males in their 20’s.
One suspect was tall and thinner, while the other suspect was described as stockier.
After receiving tips and conducting several interviews, detectives have two persons of interest.
