"The Voice" Recap: Blind Auditions End with Each Coach Gaining One New Artist

The last of the blind auditions on The Voice aired Tuesday night. Adam Levine , Blake Shelton , Shakira and Usher rounded out their respective teams; each coach now has 12 artists to mentor.

Here are the highlights of the one-hour episode:

Joe Trombino was the first contestant to take the stage. Unfortunately for him, he couldn't convince any of the coaches to turn around for his rendition of "Love and Happiness," by Al Green . He showed off some funky dancing during his performance, but, of course, the coaches didn't see it.

Conversely, all four coaches made a bid for Kaleigh Glanton , who covered "Have You Ever Seen the Rain," by Creedence Clearwater Revival . Adam said her great moments were really great; it was just a matter of putting together a more consistent performance. Blake disagreed with Adam's critique, saying that Kaleigh's act doesn't need to be polished, she just needs a spotlight. Kaleigh became the 12th and final member of Team Blake.

Brittnee Camelle tackled the Demi Lovato hit "Skyscraper." Usher and Shakira both pressed their buttons. Adam and Blake advised Brittnee to choose Shakira, but she went with Usher instead, filling the final available spot on his roster.

Adam and Shakira both showed interest in Lindsay Bruce , who sang the Eli Young Band 's "Even If It Breaks Your Heart." She picked Shakira. That meant Adam was the only coach still in search of a 12th artist.

Nineteen-year-old Caleb Elder , who works at a doughnut shop, joined Adam's team after performing "Groove Me," by King Floyd .

The battle rounds, which pit teammates against one another, will begin next Monday night on NBC. "Wake Me Up" singer Aloe Blacc will serve as an adviser for Team Adam; The Band Perry will help Team Blake; Blake's wife, Miranda Lambert , will work with Team Shakira; and R&B diva Jill Scott will advise Team Usher.
