Saturday the Indiana State Police, the Drug Enforcement Agency and the Vigo County Drug Task Force wrapped up a four month investigation that resulted in the arrest of five people.
Police say that over the past several months 35 year old Marcus Pizzola of Terre Haute would pick four pounds of meth at a time and bring it back to Terre Haute to be sold by several different people.
During the past 8 months alone police say that Pizzola distributed over 50 pounds of meth worth over $1 million.
Pizzola was arrested along US41 near Pimento bringing back over 3 pounds of meth from Georgia that was worth $16,000.
Police have also arrested 32 year old Stacy L. Holden and 48 year old Jon Bryan who are from Terre Haute along with 54 year old Robert E. Richey Sr., and 42 year old Steven Scank, who are from West Terre Haute.
All are facing multiple charges.
The investigation is ongoing and other arrests could be made.
