The short legislative session at the state house is moving into its final days.
Lawmakers have approved a ban on tanning beds for anyone under 16 along with a requirement that the names of backup physicians for abortion providers be kept on file by the state and another bill will excuse students from class if they are competing in 4-H at the State Fair.
Those bills are awaiting the Governors signature.
Negotiators are scheduled to meet Monday to take up a transportation funding measure sought by the governor.
Lawmakers are also trying to see if there is a deal to be made on preschool vouchers before the end of the session.
