The 4th of July will be here soon and that means cook outs and fireworks.
Police are reminding Hoosiers that Indiana does have laws pertaining to fireworks and they will be enforced.
Only people over the age of 18 can buy fireworks.
Adults must be present when someone under 18 is using fireworks.
You can only use fireworks on your property, and only from 9 AM to 11PM.
You set off fireworks up till midnight on the 4th.
If someone gets hurt or killed by your fireworks you could face felony charges.
