At last night’s Vigo County School Board meeting the Board passed new anti-bullying policies.
The new policy says that bullying may be subject to school discipline whether it happens on school property or not.
Bullying will be divided into separate categories--- such as verbal or electronic, a written report must be made forty eight hours after the incident occurs and once reported, the principal will investigate and could involve school counselors or law enforcement.
The new policy also calls for annual training of school staff. The new take effect this coming school year.
