The Indiana Department of Transportation handed out over $102 million in federal transportation funding to cities, towns and counties in the area.
The money will build bridges, finance safety projects and build bicycle and pedestrian trails.
Projects in Rockville, Clinton, and Vermillion County will be funded.
To receive the federal dollars, local communities must pay at least 20 percent of the total.
