Tuesday Indiana State Police stopped a car on Interstate 70 westbound near the 39 mile marker for license plate violation.
Police say that during the stop, the driver, 20 year old Halton Kai of Indianapolis produced another person’s driver’s license and said that it was his.
Kai did not have a valid driver’s license under his name.
After police received permission to search the car they found several counterfeit credit/gift cards.
Kai was taken to the Putnam County Jail and is being held on various charges.
