Indiana Lt. Gov. Sue Ellspermann is heading to Asia on a trade mission.
Ellspermann says she will lead a delegation of industry leaders and commodity representatives to promote the states agriculture industry.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture reports Indiana exports close to $4.7 billion in farm goods each year and is one of the top exporters of corn, pork and soy meal. The states agriculture industry and agri-businesses employ 475,000 Hoosiers with 34,800 jobs directly related to agricultural exports.
