Construction on the new Paris High School is moving along.
It’s a $40 million dollar project.
Construction should wrap up in December this year.
Most know that the Illinois budget is a mess and state funding of schools has been less than reliable.
Out of the $40 million half will be paid for by the two Paris school districts that will use it, the rest will come from the state and will be paid for by bonds that are designated for this school.
That means that the money is only going to this project so it can’t be diverted or withheld.
