A man has been arrested by conservation officers after he was allegedly seen shooting from a boat mounted gun.
Officers say that Stephen Winland had a rifle mounted to his fishing boat and was shooting rounds from a rifle into the Wabash River, near Covington.
He's facing multiple charges including criminal recklessness with a firearm and shooting into or across state water, possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.
More than 100 shell casings were recovered from inside the boat. Winland is in the Vermillion County Jail.
