Ed Sheeran has been added to the lineup of performers for Canada’s Much Music Video Awards, scheduled for June 15 in Toronto. He'll be making his third appearance at the show in as many years.
In addition, Ariana Grande will perform at the Much Music Video Awards for the first time. Neither artist is nominated for an award.
Lorde and Imagine Dragons were previously announced as performers for the Much Music Video Awards, which will be hosted by Kendall and Kylie Jenner , a.k.a. Kim Kardashian ’s half-sisters.
Elsewhere on the Ed Sheeran front, he stars in a new Beats by Dre commercial promoting the brand’s Beats Solo 2 headphones. He’s seen in the ad working on his new song, “Don’t,” which was inspired by a tryst between a friend and a female singer who allegedly cheated on Ed.
“Don’t” is featured on Ed’s new album , X (Multiply), out June 23.
