Indiana State University hosted more than 100 Hoosier public school principals on Tuesday. The University's Bayh College of Education kicked off the Indiana Principal Leadership Institute.
Professionals came to address the needs of public schools in the state, and continue to learn how to make their students successful. Officials say acknowledging evaluation models, student performance, and community involvement will only help shape a strong school environment.
As part of an effort to engage professionals together, principals brought along two teachers from their schools to the conference.
