An Indianapolis business that has a history of renovating and giving new life to old buildings has admitted that it is bidding to buy the old Deming Hotel in downtown Terre Haute.
Core Redevelopment has giving new life to other properties in Indiana including Busch Stadium in Indianapolis among others.
Core reportedly has its eyes on several other Terre Haute properties that are in need of rehabilitation including ISU’s Statesman Towers and the old Pillsbury building on First Street.
It appears that under Core the Deming would be transformed into upscale apartments.
The Terre Haute Housing Authority will have the final say on what happens and their decision could come in early February.
