Katy Perry took to Twitter Saturday to express sadness and frustration in the wake of latest deadly mall shooting.
Hours after a shooting at a shopping mall in Columbia, Maryland left three people dead, including the shooter, and wounded five others, Katy tweeted , “Is anyone else really sad about the constant stream of shootings and how normal it's becoming to see these headlines on a weekly basis?”
The singer then tweeted what many Americans may be feeling about gun violence in today's society and called for change. “Scared to go to school? Scared to go to the mall? Scared to go to the movies? Me too. When will there be ACTUAL change? How many more?!”
She then added , “You and I both know this is getting embarrassing...My heart goes out to ALL the victims & their families this week. I pray for change.”
