It was rumored, but now it's been confirmed: Madonna will be performing at this Sunday night's Grammy Awards.
It's not clear what the Queen of Pop will be singing, since she currently doesn't have an album to promote, but the rumor was that she would sing with a current nominee. That means she could be duetting with anyone from Katy Perry , to Paul McCartney , to Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. In fact, the rap duo does have a nominated song, "Same Love," which features a part for a female vocalist, and it's a pro-gay anthem -- that might be right up Madonna's alley. This is all conjecture, though.
In addition, rapper Juicy J has been added to the lineup, which may be a clue that Katy will be performing her new single, "Dark Horse," on which he's featured. In addition, Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong will duet with country star Miranda Lambert , Blake Shelton 's wife, in a segment paying tribute to the late Phil Everly of the Everly Brothers . Last year, Billie Joe teamed with Norah Jones to release a duets album of Everly Brothers tunes last November.
Newly-announced presenters include actors Steve Coogan , Jeremy Renner , and Julia Roberts . LL Cool J will host the show, which airs live on CBS Sunday night starting at 8 pm. ET.
