The man accused of killing 19 year old Erica Case In 1998 will stand trial on July 14th.
Clinton Mackey was arrested in Iowa and was brought back to Vigo County last night.
During an initial court appearance this morning a public defender was appointed.
Police have made an arrest in a 1998 West Terre Haute murder case.
34 year old Clinton Bryan Mackey, now lives in Iowa.
He was waived extradition and will appear in Vigo County Court today to be charged with murder for the Sept. 6, 1998, death of 19 year old Erika Case. Case was found stabbed to death in a house where she had been house-sitting for a family friend.
Mackey and another West Terre Haute teenager were known to be at the house with Case on the night she died. Other details of the investigation have not yet been released.
The case is expected to be featured on an upcoming broadcast of the TNT television show “Cold Justice,” on February 14th.
