The Rose Hulman Men’s Basketball team saw their nine-game winning streak snapped at Hanover 67-62 on Wednesday evening. The Engineers were unable to overcome a 16 point halftime deficit despite getting within 3 points in the final minutes. Julian Strickland led Rose Hulman with 27 points and Jimmy Miller added 12 in the loss. The Engineers fall to 12-4 overall and 7-2 in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference and remain in first place despite the loss.
The Rose Hulman Women’s Basketball team on Wednesday fell to Hanover 80-77 in a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference matchup. The Engineers shot 58 percent from the field and won the battle on the glass 36-28, but 25 turnovers led to 31 Panthers points. Kelsey Ploff and Sheree Williams paced Rose Hulman with 16 points each. The Engineers fall to 7-9 overall and 5-4 in the conference.
