The official state snack in Illinois is popcorn.
Now school officials are considering pulling it from cafeterias and vending machines across the state.
Why? New food guidelines put limits on how much sugar, fat and salt schools can offer.
The State Board of Education is set to talk later this week which foods can and can't be served to students.
Pop Corn it self is OK but flavored-popcorns, like cheese and caramel, those likely won't pass the new rules.
