A sluggish 1st quarter was too much for the Indiana Pacers to overcome as they fell to the Atlanta Hawks 97-87 at Phillips Arena. The Hawks outscored the Pacers 25-12 in the 1st period as Atlanta led wire to wire. Paul George led the Pacers with 28 points and 12 rebounds while Danny Granger made his first start of the season and scored 14. Indiana returns home on Friday when they face the Washington Wizards.
