Gwen Stefani has already made a splash in the fashion world with her L.A.M.B. and Harajuku Lovers clothing lines, and now she's come up with another one: DWP, or Design with Purpose.
Writing on her Facebook page, the No Doubt frontwoman and expectant mom says that she's "so excited" about the line, which she created in collaboration with Michael Glasser , the co-founder of the brands 7 for All Mankind and Citizens of Humanity.
"Together we came up with a really stylish and comfortable-to-wear line that I promise has some must have essentials for your closet come Spring 2014," Gwen declares. She's also posted a gallery of photos capturing the making of the line's look book, as well as providing a glimpse of the "laundry in downtown L.A. where the clothing was so creatively manufactured."
Women's Wear Daily has more details about the line: it's starting with an 18-piece collection with prices ranging from $80 to $130. The main piece is a slightly tapered, slouchy cropped pant made of Tencel, which is treated with the same types of techniques used on premium denim. In addition to pants, there are tanks, motorcycle vests and cropped t-shirts. "The actual designs are very simple because its all about everyday wear," Gwen tells the publication.
As for music, Gwen, who's seven months' pregnant, says she "has some things I"m figuring out."
