The Vigo County School Board meets tonight and on the agenda will be a $4 million renovation of Hoosier Prairie Elementary.
The project will add doors and walls to the school that was built with an open concept design and it will also make additions for security and energy efficiency.
Hoosier Prairie Elementary is the last school in the county to receive these upgrades.
The board will also consider banning electronic cigarettes on school grounds, and approve a collective bargaining agreement with Custodial and Maintenance Association.
The board will also approve roofing projects for roofing Honey Creek Middle School, the Franklin Elementary warehouse and North and South Vigo high schools. The board meets at 6p.m. at the administration building at 686 Wabash Ave.
