Junior Jasmine Grier’s career afternoon lifted the Indiana State Women past league leading Wichita State 63-51 to notch their first victory at the Koch Arena since 2008-09. Grier scored a career high 22 points, going 7-9 from and field and 5-7 from behind the arc. Senior guard Bilqis Abdul-Qaadir also had a big day recording her first career double-double with 12 points and 11 assists. The Sycamores also shot a season high 53 percent from the field, including 64 percent in the second half as ISU outscored the Shockers 42-29 in the second half. With the win, the Sycamores improve to 15-10 overall and 10-4 in the Missouri Valley Conference.
