In front of a crowd of 5,778 at the Hulman Center on Wednesday, Indiana State defeated Evansville 59-54 to earn their 21st win of the season. The game also saw Senior Jake Odum become ISU’s all-time leader in made free-throws surpassing Larry Bird. The Sycamores were able to win the battle on the boards 31-29 and block 7 Purple Aces shots. The victory also secured the No. 2 seed at next month's Missouri Valley Conference Tournament in St. Louis. That is the highest seed for the Sycamores since earning the No. 1 seeding in 2000.
