The Indiana State Men’s basketball team used a 12-0 run to erase a seven-point deficit to top Southern Illinois 60-57 inside the Hulman Center on Saturday. The Sycamores used a hot shooting second half shooting 48 percent from the field and took advantage inside outscoring SIU 28-16 in the paint. The win moves ISU to 11-3 in the Missouri Valley Conference and 20-6 overall. This marks the second fastest time that the program has reached 20 wins just behind the 1978-79 team. Jake Odum led the Sycamores with 15 points and his six made free throws gives the senior 542 makes from the charity stripe that ties him for first all-time with Larry Bird.
