General Motors is recalling nearly 780,000 Chevy and Pontiac cars because the engines can shut down unexpectedly and cause crashes.
Six people have been killed so far due to the problem.
The recall affects 2005 through 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt and Pontiac G5 cars.
The problem is caused by the weight of key rings and rough roads can move the ignition switch out of the run position.
GM says that drivers should remove extra items from key rings.
Dealers will replace the ignition switch for free.
