Another frozen pipe causes big damage to a Wabash Valley building.
Earlier this week a frozen pipe burst and flooded parts of Hymera Elementary School, another frozen pipe burst in the old Glidden Furniture building on Wabash causing major damage to what will be the new home to the Vigo County Historical Society.
Now another frozen pipe has burst in ISU’s 12-story Rhoads Hall.
The pipe was located on the 7th floor and the leaking water caused damage in 25 rooms.
Some students had to be relocated to other facilities.
Some student books and computers were damaged.
While the university tries to help students in the end the university says that they won’t reimburse students for damages to books or laptops.
They school says that they should buy renters insurance.
