A Marshall, Illinois man has been sentenced to six years for a February 2013 beating of a Terre Haute man.
21 year old Jesse Norton, will actually serve two years behind bars and the rest on formal probation.
Norton was originally arrested and charged in connection with the beating of a man and woman who were found along the side of a road in northern Vigo County.
David Rayhel Jr. and Britnie N. Parrish, who are both from Terre Haute, were also arrested in connection with the crime.
Rayhel pled guilty to several charges and was sentenced to four years in prison. Parrish also pled guilty to misdemeanor charges and to a one-year suspended sentence. Police say that last year Norton, Rayhel and Parrish chased the two victims from a party in northern Vigo County, ran them off the road and then beat them.
