The investigation into alleged inappropriate conduct by a group of special deputies in Vigo County continues.
The deputies worked for Graham Security out of Bloomington and were employed by the Wabash Valley Fair Association.
They received special and specific law enforcement authority from the Vigo County Sheriff’s Department.
Their powers were limited to traffic enforcement and only on the fairgrounds.
It is alleged that they told some motorists that they could escape a citation by making a cash payment which is not legal.
Graham Security is owned by former Terre Haute and Bloomington Police officer Jim Graham.
Indiana State Police are continuing their investigation.
