The Vigo County Parks Department is considering whether those listed on the sex offender registry should be banned from visiting county parks.
The discussion began after residents reported spotting offenders on the registry in the parks.
There was no allegation that they were doing anything wrong, only that hey were there.
Some Indiana cities have passed bans but it is not against state law.
