The MTV Video Music Awards are this Sunday, and a whole slew of stars have just been added to the lineup.

First of all, Ariana Grande, Jessie J and Nicki Minaj will deliver the first performance of their hit "Bang Bang" live on the show. That's not just the first TV performance: it'll literally be the first time all three women have ever sung the song together in public. The video for the clip will premiere after their performance at BangBang.MTV.com .

Next, Sam Smith will make his U.S. award show performance debut at the VMAs.  He's nominated for Artist to Watch and Best Male Video.  Sam says in a statement, "I have watched the VMAs every year since I was a kid. I am so insanely nervous but also so honored to be performing. This truly is a 'pinch yourself' moment for me."

Newly-announced presenters at the ceremony include Lorde , Demi Lovato , Gwen Stefani , Jason Derulo , Kim Kardashian , Trey Songz , and Orange Is the New Black stars Taylor "Piper" Schilling , Laverne "Sophia" Cox , and Uzo "Crazy Eyes/Suzanne" Aduba .  In addition, DJ Mustard will serve as house deejay for the evening.

The MTV VMAs air Sunday night at 9 p.m. ET/PT from the Forum in Inglewood, California.
