First of all, Ariana Grande, Jessie J and Nicki Minaj will deliver the first performance of their hit "Bang Bang" live on the show. Sam says in a statement, "I have watched the VMAs every year since I was a kid. I am so insanely nervous but also so honored to be performing. This truly is a 'pinch yourself' moment for me."
Newly-announced presenters at the ceremony include Lorde , Demi Lovato , Gwen Stefani , Jason Derulo , Kim Kardashian , Trey Songz , and Orange Is the New Black stars Taylor "Piper" Schilling , Laverne "Sophia" Cox , and Uzo "Crazy Eyes/Suzanne" Aduba .
