A Greene County man was charged with attempted murder in court Thursday.
Police say that 23 year old Michael Miller of Bloomfield got into an argument with the victim on South Seminary Street this past weekend and then slashed his neck with a knife.
The victim needed 45 stitches.
Police say that Miller told them that he has had frequent thoughts of harming multiple people.
He said he attacked the victim because he thought the victim was laughing at him and that he would do it again.
The victim and his girlfriend were able to identify Miller in a police lineup as the attacker.
