A Brazil woman has been arrested for allegedly stealing a car and then setting it on fire.
Police say that 33 year old Tessa K. Cooprider found the car in downtown Brazil with the keys in it and the stole the car.
Less than an hour later and just 10 miles away Parke County authorities reported that they were putting out a car fire.
Police say that their investigation reviled an Indiana State Police trooper reporting seeing a car that matched the stolen car at a mini-mart around the same time.
Police observed the surveillance from the station and were able to connect Cooprider to the crime.
Cooprider allegedly admitted to police that she committed the crime.
