Lorde may have canceled her tour dates due to illness, but her new MAC line of cosmetics will be rolling out on schedule in June.
Women's Wear Daily reports that the line will launch June 5 on MACCosmetics.com, and at the MAC stores in New York's Times Square and Fifth Avenue. It'll become available internationally online and in Paris starting in July. MAC also has revealed the image for the new campaign, which features a brooding photo of Lorde wearing "Pure Heroine" lipstick in her signature deep plum, and Penultimate Eye Liner in "Rapidblack," a deep black. The lipstick costs $16; the liner, $19.50.
As previously reported, Lorde's been working on her line since last year with MAC senior artist Amber Dreadon , who has been traveling on tour with Lorde as her makeup artist, and working with her to design her tour looks.
In a statement announcing the partnership, Lorde said, "I have loved MAC Cosmetics since I was a little kid. I remember saving up to buy my very first MAC lipstick [Snob] at 14, and it was used by about 20 of my friends!"
