Once again lawmakers in Springfield have stirred up some controversy, but this time it has nothing to do any particular law.
The latest stink is over the new tablets they’re using to write the laws, or rather the cost of the tablets.
90 tablets were purchased from the general fund at about $403 each for a grand total of just under $37,000.
Folks at the capital say they’ll pay for themselves by saving time and paper.
While other folks argue that while schools still aren’t funded completely,the legislators should have paid for them themselves.
