The Vigo County School Board meets tonight and on the agenda is the new school swimming pool.
The $9.8 million aquatics center that will be built in Voorhees Park and will replace the current facilities at the three county high schools.
The board is scheduled to approve going into debt to build the pool by issuing bonds.
Groundbreaking for the project is slated for June, with the facility set to open in August 2015.
The board meets at 6 p.m. in the administration building, 686 Wabash Ave.
