Lawmakers have revealed their latest draft of rules that would govern Illinois’s medical marijuana program.
The state is in the infancy of a four-year pilot program that will help work out all the kinks.
Their new plan addresses complaints about fees.
Under the new rules, patients could get their annual medical marijuana card for $100.
If the patient is disabled or a veteran, it would only cost them $50.
The public has about a month and a half to comment on the latest draft before it goes back to lawmakers for further consideration.
