A Clay county woman was sentenced last week for her part in the deaths of two people.
20 year old Kelsey Reid admitted to two counts of involuntary manslaughter.
Reid was driving at a high rate of speed when she lost control and crashed her car killing two passengers.
Part of her sentence was to make presentations to students at Clay County Schools about the dangers of speeding.
Principals at Northview and Clay City High Schools said that they don’t want Ried to deliver her talks say that it was too soon to the fatal accident and that it would prove disruptive.
The judge as agreed to honor the schools wishes.
