Baseball fans in Paris are familiar with the history surrounding Laker Stadium.
On Friday a group of Rose Hulman engineering students presented their proposal to help return the field to its former glory.
Back then it was the home of the Paris Lakers, a class D minor league team for the Chicago Cubs.
The students made several suggestions for ways to increase seating, add more parking, and just improve the overall baseball experience of the historic field.
Another presentation will be given for the city council at the end of the month, before fundraising can begin.
