The Indianapolis Colts recently signed defensive end Lawrence Guy and tackle Xavier Nixon from the Washington Redskins practice squad.
Guy played for Indianapolis during the 2012 season compiling 21 tackles and 1 sack in 9 games. The 6-4, 318 pound defensive end was originally drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the 2011 draft.
Nixon was originally signed by Washington as an undrafted free-agent back in May. The 6-6, 314 pound tackle appeared in 46 games for Florida and earned All-SEC honors after playing 11 games with eight consecutive starts. He was also part of the Florida offensive line that ranked No. 3 in the nation in yards back in 2009.
