Many people cover Jessie J songs on singing competition shows like American Idol, but now Jessie herself is getting into the act.
This week while in her native U.K., she recorded an acoustic version of Taylor Swift 's "I Knew You Were Trouble" for BBC Radio 1's "Live Lounge," segment, which features top artists covering other singers' hits. Suffice it to say, Jssie didn't have any "trouble, trouble" hitting the notes.
Jessie also announced Thursday that she'll be performing in the first-ever Facebook Live event in the U.K. on September 26. "I'll be performing an exclusive track, answering some of your questions and telling you the story behind all the songs on my brand new album Alive ," Jessie said in a video posted to Facebook .
Jessie J joins the likes of Rihanna and Madonna , who have both participated in Facebook Live events. She'll perform in Facebook's London offices, and reveal the name of her next U.K. single. Alive comes out in the U.K. on Monday, but unfortunately, there's still no U.S. release date. It's possible she may reveal that during the event, though.
Fans can tune into the hour-long event at Facebooklive.com on Thursday, September 26 at 10 a.m. ET/3 p.m. U.K. They'll also be able to send in questions.
